A father gives his first-person account of his experience as a junior in high school in the 1990s. New contacts have seemingly opened up new doors for the socially awkward teenager. How does a guy like him respond to this sudden attention from the girls around him? Can he dare to dream that he could win the heart of Nicole Ellis? Will having a girlfriend finally win him the respect of his teammates and other guys? What does it really mean to love someone? Where does God fit in all of this?
For those that know me, they will be able to pick out some places that are based on my own experiences, but the story is fictional.
